GreenLight Assist finishes the applications machines aren't allowed to.
Some job sites ask for a human verification step, usually a CAPTCHA. GreenLight never solves those, and never will. Instead it does all the rest, then hands the application to you in your own browser with every field already filled in. You answer the check, click submit, and it lands on your receipts page automatically.
It takes about ten seconds per application, and it turns the one thing automation legitimately cannot do into the one thing you actually do.
Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and any Chromium browser. Free, no separate account, nothing to configure.

The GreenLight icon shows how many applications are waiting for you. Click one and the job page opens, already filled in.

Your name, contact details, work-authorization answers, the cover letter written in your voice, and your resume attached. All from facts you confirmed.

You answer the verification and hit submit. The extension notices the confirmation page and files the receipt in GreenLight for you.

Installing it
GreenLight Assist installs directly rather than through the Chrome Web Store, so you can see exactly what you are running. Chrome calls this a developer-mode extension, which is just Google's name for one you installed yourself.

Download and unzip
Download GreenLight Assist, then double-click the file. You will get a folder called
greenlight-assist. Leave it somewhere permanent, your Documents folder is fine, because Chrome loads the extension from that folder every time it starts. - 2
Open Chrome's extensions page
Type
chrome://extensionsinto the address bar and press Enter. Chrome blocks links to this page for safety, so it has to be typed. - 3
Turn on Developer mode
Flip the
Developer modeswitch in the top-right corner of that page. Three new buttons appear along the top. - 4
Load the folder
Click
Load unpacked, select thegreenlight-assistfolder you unzipped, and choose Select. GreenLight Assist now appears in your extensions list. - 5
Pin it, and sign in
Click the puzzle-piece icon to the right of the address bar and pin GreenLight so the icon stays visible. Then sign in to GreenLight in the same browser. That is the whole setup, the extension uses the session you already have.

Check the number on the icon
The badge on the GreenLight icon is how many applications are filled and waiting. No badge means nothing needs you, which is the normal state.

Click one
The popup lists each role, the company, and the exact step that is left. Click any one and its application page opens in a new tab.

Watch it fill
A green panel appears in the corner while every field is filled in. When it finishes it tells you what is left, which is almost always “solve the CAPTCHA and hit submit”.

Review, then submit
Read it over, the same as you would any application going out under your name. Answer the verification step, click the site's own submit button, and you are done. GreenLight sees the confirmation page and records the receipt on its own.

What it will never do in your browser
Never solves the CAPTCHA
There is no code in GreenLight that answers a human-verification challenge, on the server or in your browser. That step is yours, by design, and it is the reason this extension exists at all.
Never clicks submit
The extension fills fields and then stops. Nothing is ever sent under your name without you pressing the site's own submit button yourself.
Never touches passwords
Password fields are skipped outright, and anything you have already typed is left exactly as you typed it. It only fills what is empty.
Never watches your browsing
It runs only on job-application pages you opened from your GreenLight queue, and only on the specific job sites GreenLight supports. Every other tab, it does nothing at all.
Questions
Does it cost anything?
No. GreenLight Assist is included with every plan, including the trial, and there is no separate charge or upgrade attached to it. Applications you finish this way are a bonus on top of the count your plan promises, they are never counted against it.
Why not just solve the CAPTCHA for me?
Because a CAPTCHA is a job site asking whether a person is really there, and answering it on your behalf would mean lying to an employer on the first interaction you have with them. It also risks your accounts on those sites. GreenLight does every part of the application that is honest to automate, and hands you the part that is not.
Do I have to use it?
No. Everything GreenLight can submit on its own still goes out overnight whether or not you install this. The extension is how you also collect the applications that hit a verification step, which on some job sites is most of them.
Why isn't it in the Chrome Web Store?
It is on its way there. Store review takes weeks and this is useful today, so it installs directly in the meantime. The tradeoff is in your favor: you can open every file in the folder and read exactly what it does before you run it.
What does it actually see?
On a job application you opened from your queue, it sees that page so it can fill it in. It requests access only to the specific job sites GreenLight supports plus greenlightapply.com, so it cannot read any other site you visit, and it sends nothing anywhere except the completion notice back to your own GreenLight account.
Something isn't working.
Two things fix almost everything: make sure you are signed in to greenlightapply.com in the same browser, and make sure the folder you loaded is still where it was when you loaded it. If it still misbehaves, email us and tell us which job site it happened on.
